Bookeasy’s Advanced Member Consoles

As you know, Bookeasy has recently developed new look member consoles for your Accommodation, Tour and Event Operators.  We’ve named these consoles Bookeasy Rooms, Bookeasy Tours and Bookeasy Tickets!

As well as receiving an aesthetic upgrade, the Advanced Member Consoles also offer a much more feature rich experience for your Operators and greater flexibility in the way they can sell their products.

These great consoles provide your operators with a more user friendly, easier to navigate user interface, with various options for additional revenue and more control over bookable product.

The Advanced Member Consoles have been available to your operators as a requested upgrade for some time now. Those who have already upgraded their consoles are making the most of the enhanced features and reaping the benefits, with an increase in both bookings and revenue.

Given its success thus far, Bookeasy will be upgrading all of your Accommodation, Tours and Events Operators to the Advanced Member Consoles as a mass upgrade.



When will this occur?

This upgrade will occur on 1 July 2015. This date has been chosen as it is not only the start of a new financial year but also allows both your staff and Operators time to understand the coming changes.

How will this impact my Booking Centre?

This upgrade will have minimal impact on Visitor Centre Staff and Operators alike.  All Operators who only have one product type active within their console will automatically be included in the mass upgrade.

However, any of your Operators who currently utilise their console with a combination of the below listed products will be omitted from the mass upgrade and will remain on the Legacy Member Console;

  • Accommodation
  • Tours
  • Events
  • Car Hire
  • Wineries
  • Hire & Activities
  • Eating Out
  • Conference

Bookeasy have created a wide range of help documentation to assist your staff and Operators in using the advanced features available with the Advanced Member Consoles.

How will this impact my Operators?

Once the mass upgrade has been completed, the next time your Operators access their console, they will be met with the Advanced version.

All of their products, descriptions, rates, specials and any other information that was previously loaded will have automatically migrated seamlessly to the upgraded console.  Operators will not be required to re-enter any reservations, bookings or revenue statistics.

Operators will be encouraged to review each area of their account to ensure this has occurred without issue, but also to familiarise themselves with the Advanced Member Console and the new features available to them.

We will continue to provide communication on the forthcoming mass-upgrade prior to 1 July 2015.
